while visiting Winchester a few weeks ago I found a curious cat in the middle of an abandoned field, a dog with the biggest smile and some flowers holding on to the last remains of Fall. Here they all are.

Carissa and I spent some time in Winchester, VA last weekend and had a great time exploring the beautiful small town. As we explored we also took some photos. If you live in the Washington DC area and are looking for a cute small town with plenty of character you should take a short ninty minute drive over to Winchester.
Here are my favorites from the model shoot with Carrisa. Oh and a very special and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Carrisa!
When you make it there and you love authentic Mexican food you need to stop by El Comal. Carissa and I stumbled upon it with the help of Yelp. The place turned out to serve just about the most authentic Mexican food i’ve had on the East Coast. It reminded me of the tacos places in California. Completely unpretentious and only about 5-10 small tables for seating, El Comal serves up some very delicious burrito and tacos. This place is self-serve so don’t expect to be waited but you should definitely try it if you’re Winchester.
I will be posting more photos of Winchester in a few days so keep an eye out for that…
