korean food at spa world

(photos taken by my iphone)

I’ve heard about spaworld for a few months now and have been wanting to go for a long time. Today I finally had the opportunity to go and since Carissa is visiting from out of town i invited her to come along. It was definitely a cultural experience for us. We had a really nice relaxing time there at the “thermal” baths and different rooms made of natural elements like amethyst, clay, onyx etc.

There was also a cafe and restaurant in spaworld. Carrissa ordered an interesting cold noodle dish. It is creamy and tasted like there was plenty of crushed roasted sesame seed in it. It was good but since i don’t like my noodles cold, unless it’s soba noodles, i probably won’t order it next time i come but i’m glad i had the chance to try it. I ordered instant ramen noodles and specially stewed eggs, which apparently is the diet of students in korea. I was happy with my food but they didn’t look so great so i didn’t get a photo of it.

I definitely recommend a trip to spaworld if you ever get the chance. However I strongly suggest that you read about it on Yelp or go to their website to get a better idea of it before you go.

  1. I know what that dish is…made of soy bean soup base…not my favorite either. :-)
